Gael Colmcille 2-9 Ratoath 0-7

Ratoath visited Grangegodden on Sunday morning last, to take on Gael Colmcille in the second round of the league.
On a freezing cold morning a decent crowd turned out for a game between two sides who had won in the first round.
The home side settled quickly and scored a goal and a point before Ratoath got off the mark.
The first half was even enough and the home side would lead by 1-4 to 0-5 at half time.
The second half was more one sided as the visitors struggled to keep the scoreboard moving – 7 wides proving costly. Colmcilles were good value for their win although the margin was flattering in the end.
