FULL MATCH REPORT FROM TODAYS GAME

Killyon Longwood 0-10 Ratoath 1-16 Ratoath make it to another minor hurling final after a convincing win over Killyon Longwood in Longwood today. Both sides started well and we're level at the first water break with 5 points each before Ratoath took control towards half time when they lead 1-9 to 0-6. Domhnall Rogers kept the score board ticking over with some well taken frees and a goal from Donagh O'Longagh and points from Ronan Wardick, Shaun Donnelly and Mossy Corbett provided Ratoath with the much needed firepower.

In the second half Ratoath extended their lead over a dogged Killyon team with notible scores from Sean Corbett and Ronan Byrne. Around the pitch Ratoath were winning the individual battles with Liam Kelly, Chris Haskins, Ciaran Rogers, Cian Smith and Will Lanigan showing prominently. Elsewhere Ronan Conheady pulled off some great saves in the Ratoath goal behind a solid back three of Eoin Mcnerney, Liam Corbett and Matthew Godkin.

Special mention to Ben Fraser making a long awaited come back from the bench along with Mattiu Duggan and Scott Cadwell. Ratoath will now face Trim in the Tony Donnelly Cup Final in early October in a much anticipated rematch.
