Ba é Ratoath an fhoireann is fearr ar fud an daingneáin seo a bhí i ndálaí níos giorra i mBaile an Bhrúnaigh ar maidin Dé Domhnaigh

On a bitterly cold morning, Ratoath welcomed Skryne to Sean Eiffe Park for this division 1 league encounter.

Playing with the wind in the first half Ratoath had the better of the opening exchanges and with the aid of 2 goals managed to rack up a ten point lead at half time. Skryne found it difficult to get scores on the board in the windy conditions.

Half time:

Ratoath 2-5

Skryne 0-1

Skryne were a lot more lively in the second half and threatened several times in the early minutes, but Ratoath stuck to the task and in scoring another goal had the only major score of the second half. This was a good win for this young Ratoath side who worked tirelessly throughout the game.

Ratoath 3-8

Skryne 0-6
