Ratoath took on Trim in the U21 Hurling Championship, in Dunshaughlin recently. By the 5th minute Ratoath had very clearly set out their stall, by going 2-02 to 0-0. There was no let up from the Blue & Yellows and with a very balanced team effort, they went into the break 5-9 to 0-1. Sadly for Trim, the old saying about a game of two halves didn’t ring true, as Ratoath continued to pile on the pressure and were handsomely rewarded at the final whistle with a score of 8-18 to 1-4.
