A football fundraiser is being held in December, with all funds raised going to the Support Sean Cox fund. As you will have seen in the media, Sean and his brother Martin went over to Anfield for Liverpool’s Champions League semi-final against Roma last April. Unfortunately, Sean was attacked and left with serious injuries requiring ongoing medical treatment for the forseeable future.

Thankfully he has made some progress and is now in Dun Laoghaire Rehabilitation Hospital. He will require considerable long term care, which will be very costly for his family.

The football competition, over two days, on the 29th and 30th December, will comprise of a maximum of 32 teams, consisting of a squad of 10 players with 6 team members playing at any one time, at a cost of €300 per team.

The organising group would very much appreciate your support for this very worthy cause by undertaking one of the following:-

• Enter or Sponsor a Team for €300 – contact
• Donate a Prize for either the raffle or an auction item;
• Make a financial donation via page or alternatively you can give a cheque to a member of the organising committee below; and
• Act as a volunteer on the 29th and 30th December.

Thank you in advance for any support you can provide and a member of the organising committee will contact you in the near future. Please keep up to date with all the developments on the facebook page, Sixes For Sean.

Yours in sport,

Brian Conway, Stan Gibney, Paul Everard, Johnny Brady and Richard Smith
