RATOATH GAA SUPERHEROES DOING THEIR BIT TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR THE Candy Canes of Kindness for Tommy
Fair Play to BATMAN AKA Sean Corbett & SUPERMAN AKA Ronan Byrne for pullin their tights to jump into their alter egos to help promote the CANDY CANES OF KINDNESS FOR TOMMY. Magic stuff lads.
SO DONT FORGET.......
As you may know, Roisin Mannering’s little boy Tommy Grant is very sick in hospital at the moment, and he will be in there for the coming weeks with leukaemia. Roisin is a member of our SNA staff in Ratoath College for many years. We feel like we should try and show our support as a school community in some small way!
So on Friday 17th of December the following will be happening.
1. We will run a Christmas Superhero themed Candy Cane delivery service called 'Candy Canes of Kindness' in our school on Friday the 17th of December and delivery candy canes to students in class.
2. TY students and will dress as superheroes and will walk a Superhero 5km walk around Ratoath village at 9am starting at Ratoath College on Friday 17th of December
3. Finally, the third part of our plan, is that SuperValu have agreed to let us use their premises to sell our superhero candy canes outside their store. Therefore, we will have two real life superhero students every hour to fundraise again on Friday the 17th of December at Supervalu. We will use the tag like ‘Superheroes at SuperValu’!!!🦸♀️🦹♂️🦸♂️
All money raised will go to Roisin and family and CHFC (Children’s Health Foundation Crumlin)
If anyone from Ratoath GAA would like to walk with us on Friday the 17th leaving the school at 9am, you are so welcome.
If anyone would like to donate, you can find us outside Supervalu from 10am on Friday the 17th or contact the school anytime on Friday, there will be a collection point at reception.
